Notice of Nondiscrimination

The Jefferson County Department of Health (JCDH) does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin (including limited English language proficiency), sex (including pregnancy, sex characteristics, sex or gender orientation), religion, age, or disability in the administration of its programs or activities, as required by applicable laws and regulations.

These laws include:
  • Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act
  • Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended
  • Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973
  • Age Discrimination Act of 1975
  • Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972
  • 40 C.F.R. Parts 5 and 7 (Non-discrimination in Programs or Activities Receiving Federal Assistance from the Environmental Protection Agency)
  • Section 13 of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act Amendments of 1972

JCDH Department does not intimidate or retaliate against individuals or groups for asserting rights guaranteed under federal law, filing any complaint under federal law, or participating in an EEOC proceeding.

JCDH provides appropriate auxiliary aids and assistance services for individuals such as needing interpreters or alternate communications free of charge to ensure all individuals have equal accessibility and opportunity to programs and information. Hours of Operation:
All Centers are open 7:45am to 4:30pm. Phone lines for clinic appointments open at 7:00am Monday through Friday.
