International Program

The International Program at the Health Department strives to ensure access to public health services for international communities residing in Jefferson County. Our goals include building bridges with external health programs and organizations working with diverse ethnic/racial and minority populations, as well as facilitating access to and utilization of services by disadvantaged populations, international populations, and patients with limited English proficiency.

This program also oversees interpretation services at the Jefferson County Department of Health; assisting with administrative policy development and quality assurance.
