Jefferson County Citizen Alert Notification System

Jefferson County Emergency Management, in collaboration with the City of Birmingham 911, provides an emergency alert system known as the Jefferson County Citizen Alert Notification System (Everbridge).

This system allows the public to receive notifications via phone, text messages, and emails about severe weather, flooding, evacuations, emergency school lockdowns etc. Residents create confidential accounts and choose the type of warnings or information they would like to receive.
