The Digital Vaccine Information Packet intends to address those concerns, alleviate confusion and equip individuals with the foundational knowledge to take charge of their health during this pandemic. The packet includes information about the status of the COVID-19 vaccine in Jefferson County and vaccine safety and effectiveness. JCDH has also included a Frequently Asked Questions section that addresses how to register for the vaccine in Jefferson County, the benefits of the COVID-19 vaccines, how they work, the possible side effects, and the importance of continuing to take infection prevention steps. In addition, there is a section debunking myths and misinformation about the vaccine. Please understand that all information included in this packet is fluid and subject to change.
