Testing and treatment is provided to protect sex partners and unborn children from the serious effects that may result from untreated syphilis, gonorrhea and other sexually transmitted diseases. Services and information are confidential and offered at minimal cost. Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases are offered at Central Health Center located at 1400 6th Avenue, South. More information on STD’s can be obtained from the Alabama Department of Public Health and The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
